Tea Store & Brew Bar. In the Heart of Perth City is a small but quaint tea store and hosts many different types of teas. The architecture is one that I wanted to capture as an avid tea drinker.

Stirling Gardens Entrance on St Georges Tce

The statue commemorates Alexander Forrest, the first explorer of the Kimberley district in 1879 and who represented that area in Parliament for fourteen years until his death. This is at the Entrance to the Stirling Gardens from St Georges Tce that are Western Australia's first Botanical Garden.

A charging Rhino. The rhino is an animal that can charge and run fast! This is a sketch that I tried to represent this magnificent creature at its best. I also paint this animal for people to be aware that they are being poached indiscriminately and need protection.

Looking Onto St Georges Tce

Walking along St. Georges Terrace towards the east brings some interesting features that one encounters and draws the eyes to the light lamps that line the street.....if only we observe and look!

London Court Perth Inside

London court from the inside is as fascinating in its architecture from inside as it is from outside. It was a no brainer that I had to paint both areas to represent the Elizabethan Features.

London Court Perth From St Georges Tce

Built in 1937 as a combination of residential and commercial premises for wealthy gold miner and financier Claude de Bernales, Perth's London Court is designed using the architectural features present in Elizabethan times. It has some great features that were exciting to paint and depict.

We have some of the most unique wildlife in our country of Australia. This is one of them and they love to be cuddled and petted. This painting is intended to depict their docile demeanour.

Intimate

Here I brought in colours from my pallet that I thought evoked the feeling of intimacy between two people irrespective of their sex.

Fountain Nibs on Barrack Street

The five 3.5 metre high cast aluminium pen nibs are dedicated to the planners who designed the Stirling Gardens (Western Australia's first Botanical Garden). It also honours those who wrote the recorded history of the gardens. These colours look beautiful at night as they light up a brilliant blue which I have tried depict through my painting.

Elizabeth Quays Carousel

France has the most amount of Carousels but Perth has this lovely one that is on Elizabeth Quays giving children a ride all year round. With the Towers of Ritz at the back, this painting will lead a person to recognise exactly where I sat down and sketched this painting.
