The Illustrator
I have had the privilege to work as an illustrator for two books. I create bright, lively drawings for books, but can also do more illustrations for magazines, advertising, greeting cards, calendars and more. I have been told that my illustrations give a certain life, character and personality to buildings, animals and others. I’ve been drawing all my life and illustrating came into being after I did urban sketching, putting quirkiness and cheekiness into buildings.
When not illustrating, I can be found spending my time with my grandchildren.

Lockie the Famous City Dog
The book features adventures of a dog that lives in the city and becomes famous through her experience roaming around the City of Perth (Western Australia). The illustrations in this book are colourful, vibrant and based on actual urban scenes in the City of Perth. ‘Lockie the Famous City Dog’ introduces the reader to some of Perth’s popular family-friendly sights and encourages them to visit the city to see them for themselves!
